It's not that I think salon and spa operations can't be stressful, I just always wonder why companies think that customers' stress must always transfer to customer support teams.
As someone who's both worked in what would be considered highly stressful fields and led teams, I know that doesn't have to be true, so it's frustrating to see this so often in job descriptions.
Overall, though, this job seems pretty straightforward, the benefits are fine, and the pay is good for a fairly entry-level remote role. Nice to see a solid Eh, It's Probably Fine for this week's issue.

As a Customer Support Specialist at Mangomint, you will:
- Troubleshoot and respond to inquiries from our customers, primarily through chat but also over calls
- Continually increase your Mangomint product and industry knowledge so you can provide expert-level answers and support
- Collaborate with other teams to identify and resolve technical issues reported by customers
- Document and share common customer issues and solutions
- Provide customized solutions and preemptive follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a software support position
- The ability to learn incredibly quickly and an “I’ll figure it out” attitude, while also not being afraid to ask questions
- Independence and the ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Enjoyment in working on difficult-to-solve problems, even in stressful situations
- Passion for talking with people from all walks of life, maintaining respect and kindness
- Strong written communication skills*Experience with salons and spas (or beauty & wellness in general) would be highly beneficial
